Why was NorWHO created?

NorWHO was created to raise awareness about global health issues and the democratic process that governs it.

Do I have to be a medical student?

No, you do not have to be a medical student to participate in the NorWHO conference. The event is open for anybody with an interest in global health. The diversity of the participants at the NorWHO simulations creates a special dynamic that enhances the quality and outcome of the event. Former delegates have studied puplic health, political science, law, medicine and biomedical engineering.

Is prior experience with UN diplomacy or the WHO a requirement?

No, absolutely not. Participants attend the WHO simulation in order to learn from it and obtain skills that can benefit them later in their careers.

When is the event?

NorWHO 2020 will take place between the 17th and the 21st of August 2020.

Where does it take place?

The location of this year’s NorWHO will be the United Nations City, Copenhagen, Denmark.

No. There are no application fees.

We review applications on a continuous basis, and will get back to you as soon as we can.

Will I recevie a certificate?
